Also seen at Shrewsbury. Not something I would have guessed I’d find here in a million years! Talking to the owner, it’s a ‘97 with the QD32ETi diesel engine.
The owner was former military stationed overseas, hence how it got here.
Why he brought it back, he didn’t say. However, I’m glad he did!

I think it’s pretty obvious why he brought it back. Because luxury Japanese minivans are awesome.

I don’t know what this is but I like it. It’s got a living room in the back!

I’m slowly discovering that I have a thing for JDM vans. I’m seeing Delicas all over town now. One lives on my block and I always walk the dog past it.

I seemed to see a lot of Delicas, especially the Star Wagon, when I was in the PNW a few years ago. They were really cool to see around.

Exactly! The one on my block has one of these push bars:
It makes the front end look like a pig in a way I find very endearing.
I see this Elgrand also has huge skylights; do all these JDM vans have that?

It’s like a ‘90s minivan, but more luxurious, and more JDM! The back certainly looks like it would be fun on a road trip!

The Delica looks like it would be fun. I think the large skylights were available and a popular option on a lot of the JDM vans.
